Adrian - he has it, will get back to you.
Mick - as it says at bottom of post, Mark M is still working on the font colour issue, in the meantime you can manually change the font colour, as I have here using the font colour button above. Just highlight the text and click on the colour you want. Hope that helps for now.

Hi Gill

Like the 'click on the photo' to get full screen image.
The opening page is great, with the Centurion and the photos scrolling across the screen.
I prefer the orange on the opening screen to the yellow on the forum.

I like to use my ipad to browse the forum. I sometimes have a problem viewing posts, when i try to scroll through a post the ipad keeps jumping back to the one i originally opened. This does not happen on all posts.

I have 'pinched' your 3D image of the Centurion, which is brilliant, for my desktop background and also for my mobile phone. Hope this is OK?

Question, can we now upload photos direct to the forum or do we still have to use an external site (like Photo Bucket)?

Best regards

John Wiggins

Hi John,

No problem using the Centurion picture. Glad you like it.

You can upload pictures directly to the site, the picture I took of Mark was straight from my camera so it really could not be easier :D

Great news with the new method for the pictures - a reasonable sized forum to read but full sized and quality images to be able to enjoy the details.

Definitely the best of both worlds :D :D

Hi All
I have tried to find out how to load pictures onto postings on the forum and I am at a loss, please can I be directed to the right way to do it? If I have got it right, it is no longer neccessary to use an intermediary such as Photobucket?
Thanks for any advice.
Steve

Hi Steve,
You can upload photos directly from your pc to the site by using the "Browse" tab in the "Upload attachment" area at the bottom of the post text area. The "Browse" tab allows you to navigate your pc to were ever you have your photos stored, Highlight the photo you want and click on "Open",The file name will now appear next to the "Browse" tab. Next click on "Add the file" and "Posted attachments" will appear, Click "Place inline" and the photo reference appears in the text block. Job done !
I post my pictures at a maximum resolution of 800x600 as i think this is the largest allowed so you may have to resize your photos before attempting to follow any of the above.
The above sounds a little long winded but once you have done it a couple of times it becomes very easy. There my even be quicker ways of doing it but i have not found them yet.
Hope this of help
Regards
Steve

A quick test at a resolution of 3648x2736 (No resizing), it works but takes longer to load.

This photo makes me realise that an important area of weathering is how the crew's activities affect the tank's appearance.
Thanks again
