No. 002 - a late L

Post by Christian Steinhauer »

Hello,

after some investigation and visits in Munster i started my build. I am still making new plates for the back, the front plate with asymetric hatches is ready. Last week I get the basic plates for the bump stoppers back from milling. Next stepp is sawing the sides for the stoppers. Here is a pic from the parts.

Hello Adiran,

thank you. The basic part from the first picture is machined,
the other parts are handmade and all parts are soldered together.
Here you can see all parts not ready:

> casting

I've been looking at videos on YouTube of "Lost PLA" casting and it seems to generate quite good results. It would mean a significant outlay in equipment to do it myself though.

That sounds like fun. Make sure you have an Olsson Ruby nozzle though
