Hello Simon, thank you for your post. I am enjoying this build, and trying to take your advice. Just finished reading and following your Panther build....unbelieveable....a show stopper if ever there was one. There is plenty of inspiration to tempt those new to these 1:6 tanks. Easily the most friendly and helpful Forum I have been on....Mick

Big session this week.....I have reached that moment in the build, when I have to consider the weight of the model. The road wheels, sprockets and idlers are fast approaching the trial 'fit'.
So, as the amount of working space available is somewhat limited I have to rearrange my work station. The other problem will be a physical one....my ability to lift heavy weights is limited....
Therefore, I will transfer the Comet to ground level, and move my table lift into the workroom. I can then move the Panther/Jagd onto the table lift.
Now I know Forum readers will tut tut, and question my state of mind....however, I felt the need to set this process out. Photo's to follow. For those interested, these problems do require some careful thought..... :D
I enjoyed posting that.....cleared my mind.....Mick

Thanks Kent, I can change them around. I like posting photographs....it enables other builders to scan my build and spot my mistakes. I did this with the Comet.....it worked well......

Hello Nick, thank you for your post. It is very helpful to post photographs, as you know the Forum members soon spot mistakes.
Here is the 'key' I made to seat the hub caps, courtesy of Paul Morris. Brass off-cut.

Hi Michael. Coming along great. I know what you mean about weight and space. I made up a platform for storage of second tank while snother on the lift. Just got a small pallet and fitted castors. Works really well for storage and makes it easy to move out of the way.

Hello John, yes, I have been having a 'move around', I need to be able to access both sides of the tank now. the 'big move' is scheduled for tomorrow. I have cleared the decks in the small bedroom.....so it's all systems go. My wife will be attending the local day centre,....so, my chance to move the table lift, no one to hear me swear.
I have reset the 'lift' bosses in the correct position.
John, you are making a fine job for Padge....I follow your rebuild....very nice work.
I do not think I would have your patience....
I hope to post one or two photo' tomorrow.......Mick

Thanks for the comments on Padges tank. Photos are a bit behind. We have a military festival at beginning of June and would like to have it running by then so working flat out and little time for photos. I hope to have the tank fully base coated at the weekend and will post some photos.
