Hello Mick

There is only one special torsion pivot required. This must be fitted at the extreme front right hand side. It is needed there to clear the underside of the motor mounting flange. Either type can be used in any of the other locations.

Thank you Mark, I will do as you say, (I thought someone had slipped me a low blow). The instructions are clear, I do tend to read the drawings, so when I could only see the one 'special', It confused me.

Hello Nick, nice bit of kit there....looking forward to your finishing touch.

Still got this silly grin on my face.......

Just an after thought.....I am using my 'sack truck' to move the hull into the garage for painting.

Mick.

Hi Mick
Nice to see your Hull taking shape, this one is going to get heavier quicker.
I think I will have to invest in a nice sack truck,to make the moving easier.
Cheers

Hello, made more progress on the hull. Firstly I must set the record straight , I owe the 'pickers and packers' at Armortek, an apology. I said in my last post that I had four torsion pivot specials, I was wrong. I did in fact have one torsion pivot special, and fifteen torsion pivots....sorry

The suspension has assembled very well. I read all the posts, and the instructions carefully. The actual build is straight forward. In particular the photograph and description by Steve Norris, was very helpful. I used one or two shims, at the most, on the suspension shaft/suspension arm.
The axles line up well, with slight variations...which I believe is acceptable.

Enjoying every moment....Mick

Hello Phil, hello Nick, thank you for your comments. The tank is already heavy, I use my sack truck to move it between the workbench and garage, (spraybooth).
I have to say Nick, concering the suspension, that the 'shims' make it easy to adjust. I soon found the correct angle, so all is well.

Regards...Mick.

Hello everyone, I know you will all have seen this type of photo before.....it's all progress for me.
With the warmer weather arriving I can spray parts in the garage.

I have ordered my spray paints from the local 'accessories car parts shop'. They are very keen to be part of my new project, by ordering from a local paint supplier.
I have to provide the RAL number, the paint is then mixed and supplied in 400Ml spray cans. I have still not made an attempt, or ventured into the airbrush market. I guess this is the way forward when I reach the camo stage. However, there are many and various colours in the RAL range.

I have ordered spray paints in Dunkelgelb, Olivgrun, Rotbraun, and Elfenbein.

Regards....Mick

Hello John, Acid Etch8 does stink.
Yes, I have a good quality face mask, the garage doors are wide open, and a warm breeze is flowing through.
It's lovely day here in Mid-Wales.
