Hi Guys

I have made a decision to increase prices of all my assembled parts, these new prices will come into effect on April 1, 2012, price increases are between 10% to 15% depending on the complexity of the part. All parts in kit form that do not require any assembly have not been increased.

I am giving this advance notice so those that wish to order assembled parts can still do so at the current prices.

In the past I have, were possible, filled orders in priority of date received. This will change as of April 1st, I will have two sets of customer order bins, one for kits and one for assembled parts. All parts ordered as kits, were no assemble is required, will be shipped as soon as I can pack them. Assembled parts will still take 4 to 8 weeks, some maybe longer. Were orders have a combination of assemble parts and kits they will go into the assembled parts order bins.

The reason for the price increase on assembled parts is that they are taking around 70% of my work time to produce. For some time I have realized that this has been a problem which has seriously effected my ability to fill orders which has disappointed lots of customers and may have effected my sales.

The increase I hope will encourage more customers to order kits and lighten my work load to enable me to give a better delivery service. Less time devoted to assembly of parts will also free up time for me to work on new products and projects that were started some time ago, which at the moment I have no time to make or complete.

If the price increase does not effect the orders of assemble parts, the extra income will give me the money to hire help.

Current orders I have to complete, which is around 35, I had hoped to deliver by March 1st is taking longer than expected as nearly all have assembled parts, around a 150 to assemble. I am extending the delivery date to March 15.

You may order assembled parts at current prices until March 31 and secure these prices with a 25% deposit on orders of $200.00 or more, orders of less than $200.00 require full payment. Payment must be made by March 31.

Current orders awaiting payment must be paid by March 31 or they will be re-billed at new prices.

I currently have a fair stock of photo-etched and bronze cast parts in stock, white metal parts can be cast as I need them, Please place your orders as early as possible so I can access if I need to order more photo-etched and bronze cast parts from my suppliers.
