Early Tiger Mantlet Casting Numbers

Post by Rocky Sembritzky »

From what I can tell, the Early Tiger had two casting numbers on the top of the mantlet. I am guessing that these would be the year of production?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rocky

John,

Many thanks for the quick reply! According to the pictures in Achtung Panzer, the Early Tiger had two casting numbers. The Late Tiger had the six digit configuration.
