I was planning on trying a few tests on zimmerit for the turret but got impatient and decided to just go for it. I'm using milliput so no going back.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I was trying to get the different texture to the turret zimmerit. Should have practiced first as towards the end I think I was getting yhe hang of it. Paint is just a base coat spray. Still to add zim to view ports.

Hi John.

Looking good all round mate, the missing zimm is catching on it adds an extra dimension to the paintwork or at least thats what I think the times I have done it.

Missing zimm is also useful if you are running low on milliput.

Well yes I have used that ploy as well, especially on my King Tiger where I was running out of time fast for the show.
