Re: Sherman BARV
Super job. Now you just need a landing craft to push off the beach!

Great work David. That's quite some transformation. My vote would be against you buying back the DD.

Re: Sherman BARV
Hi David,
Your BARV is a bit homely in a beautiful kind of way. It looks like a cross between an American civil war ironclad warship (like C.S.S MERRIMAC) a U-boat and a sherman tank. Brilliant detals, what would this thing do in real life? I understand its called a beach armored recovery vehicle, but how would it recover anything? What is the purpose of the armored turtle deck back? It looks like it would be a very big target on a beach. Perhaps a little history?
I love all of your "funnies" the Sherman crab, DD and dozer tank are fantastic. Do you build all of these variants from one Sherman kit or do you have an entire battalion of Shermans, each one different?
Best regards, Bob

Re: Sherman BARV
Dave,
Peachy model! Can she wade?
Bob,
The big beams across the front of the BARV were used to push-off beached landing craft too.
cheers, Fabrice
