Leighton Hall Meet 25th Sept

Post by duncanallender »

Hi guys,
After a great Open Day,I have returned with new enthusiasm,so was thinking about a last meet at Leighton before they close for the shooting season. Can people make 25th Sept?
It would be good to get as many as poss there,as we havn't done much this year.Maybe if you want we could then have another meet at the coast in Oct sometime.
Obviously the weather ain't brill at the moment so if we text each other on the day before we all leave then people won't be turning up if it's raining cats and boxer dogs.
Let us know what you think. If you can't make it I expect to see a letter from your parents explaining why.
Cheers Dunc

Hi Dunc & Paul,

The 25th will be a bit quick for me as I'm still building. I want to do the best job I can and I'm not going to rush it. I might be able to make October though as I should have at least 2 running vehicles by then. Looking forward to meeting up again as it's been too long.

Thanks Ant

Hi Dunc,

That sounds like a great idea. I am working on the Saturday night (Tamper Commander), but if I am late finishing I will just come to the Hall.

Conversation between Brody and Quint on board the "Orca" in the film Jaws.

"What would happen if you fell in the water with a shark like that?"

"It would be like ringing the dinner bell....all you could do is pray, and since God pushed you in there in the first place . . . I wouldn't give you a nickel for your chances"

So ... fingers crossed then.
