Hi Gill and Mark,
OK this time it will happend. Uschi ( my wife ) and myself will attend to your open day! Now can I please have a list where to stay.
And for those asking, no I will not bring my Tiger I with me. I'm so sorry but it is such an adventure to carry this weight. Last not least the Dutch may stop the transport for the 88 mm gun fitted.
Thanks in advance and see you soon - Roland

Have to agree too it will be good to meet Yves as well in fact thats one of the best things about the open day meeting new fellow modellers, for a chat.

openday
Hi Paul,
I was on the openday in 2010,
i was together with Sven Strobbe also from Belgium.
i have watch your lesson about making zimmerit with milliput,
it was very interesting for me. I work also with milliput now for making welds. And maybe later i will try making zimmerit on a tank.
regards Yves and see you on the next openday

Doubt that I will make it this year. Think I will be in France in September. Might try fitting in Samur as compensation. Would have loved to pick up some tips from you guys. I would have tried to fit open day in but I think it unlikely that my Tiger will be ready on time. Those who do get there, please post loads of pictures and I hope you have a great day. Now back to work on the zimmerit.
Regards
John

Hello Roland,
I was planning on going but neck surgery now definitly put a cross through my(and Chris) plans to visit the Open Day. Very unfortunate because I was looking forward meeting all of you, watch the other models, learn and ofcourse exchange the courtesy to everyone who was helpfull on the forum. As things look now I'm not allowed to drive for at least six weeks and that puts an end to all my aspirations. Fortunate for you I will not be able to put up a roadblock
so you are allowed to pass through our beautiful little country
. If things turn out for the better purhaps I will find a way to show up.
Kind regards to all I probably miss in September
