We are leaving today for War and Peace.
http://www.thewarandpeaceshow.com/
We have not exhibited at this show for a couple of years, however this year
will be there from Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd July.
We will be in the Model Marquee, near the Main Arena.
The show itself is also open Saturday and Sunday but we will not be there on those days.

War and Peace Friday
The weather today was brilliant and the event was stunning. I have taken a loads of photos, including these two, which I now share with you all.
Dave Dibbs and his Priest, even better in real life, no smart comments please!

Gill in an armoured car!

Best wishes for the weather for all those going over the Weekend, the only guys who will be please are the First World War enactors who won't need the Fire Brigade to top up their muddy trench-the rain does it for them.

A very enjoyable and worthwhile show, and for once, as Steve said, the weather was very kind.
Great to see so many customers and welcome to new ones from Belgium and the US!

Looks like they had a good turn out of vehicles
, much better than the last time I went a few years ago
.
I did buy a ticket for yesterday, but Dad's been critically ill this week, so family comes first.
Adrian.

A Chieftain named.....?
Interesting photos of W & P. Looks like a great show.
These photos on Gill's blog caught my eye:

A Chieftain painted in the markings of 4th Royal Tank Regiment. The Chinese Eye stands out and looks like the name is Defiant.
Good try boys, but I have a dim memory that it was called Defiance....... It was a long time ago though, when Denny was still in shorts.
Just wiping a nostalgic tear ....
