Just an update on the 88 build, this is the most challenging modeling I have done so far, and when you see how much there is to do, you have to admire the work Alfredo has done to his model; I have started on the elevation and traverse dials, and have opted for the light indicators, instead of the dials, lots of sawing and filing, and I will be adding some of the lights, just to show how they worked, this is the great thing about our hobby, you also learn at the same, pictures added to gallery, page 5, Flak 36

Good work as ever Jeff, I take my hat of to you.
I'm pleased that the 88 Forum is back in use. I'm still working on the Gun base. Once I've finished that I'll post a couple of pictures.
After the base I think I'm going to work on the bogies before the barrel and gun centre, so at least I'll have something to tow behind the half trak this summer.
keep the pictures coming
all the best
Colin

Hi Jeffrey,
very fine work on your 88, congratulations.
I have to confess that I choose to reproduce the Flak 37, because the light indicator of fire control system of 36, was much more complicated.
I regretted not having addressed the issue of making the brake levers system that were on the boogies. Maybe you can try it.
Cheers

Hi Alfrefo, it was your Modelwork tiger that started me on this hobby, and the meticulous detail you put into your models was my inspiration; I nearly went for the Flak 37 because most of the 88s in collections have the updated fire control, but I liked the idea of elecrifying the system to show how it worked, the trailers are some way off yet so we shall see.
Hi Colin, nice to hear from you, hope the build is going well, would be good to see some pictures, its a bit lonely on the 88 forum
