Hi all ,
I thought I would introduce myself I'm a Model Automotive Artisan from Australia and will be taking possession of an Early tiger 1 in the distant future and to say that I'm excited at the prospect is the understatment of the century!!
Im really looking forward to building and detailing the model once it arrives although it will be a very slow build with all my other customer model building commitments which will take first prority!
I also look forward to asking for advise from you guys on any problems that I'm sure will arise during construction.

Cheers

Sean,
Awesome work on your models! The wire spoked wheels are mind boggling! Wecome to the world of tanks. I'm sure you will have no problem tackling one of these models after seeing your website.

Can I ask how you make the rubber tyres complete with sidewall logo? Fabulous work!

Sounds like the German Tigers have invaded downunder.

Thanks Bob The wire wheels were very popular at the time and I still get alot of enquiries now to build more sets !
I can't take the credit for the tyres as they are the old monogram Kit Items Used with permission from Monogram of course !! :o

Cheers

Sean,

I've just spent 1/2 hour glued to your web site. The models are amazing, in fact I was most taken with the scratch built E Type wheels. Clearly you have great skill. As Dale says we are looking forward to seeing what you can do with the Armortek models. You also have a superb facility. I'm getting fed up freezing in my cold garage this winter with only a soldering iron for heat !!

I also love scratch building and have put a few photos of my scratch built 1/16th Diamond T transporter that I made some years back. Its fully R/C and made from a mixture of parts, some from Wedico and some from Tamiya. The bodywork is scratch though. As you can see during the tests it can pull the King Tiger model that I used as its the heaviest Tamiya tank model I have

WOW Allan That truck is beautiful work you should be very proud of your efforts as I'm sure you are.
Since finding this site and hanging around it like I have I can't belive how dedicated you guys are to your projects it's amazing !! And what about the trailer is that scratchbuilt?
regarding your comment about my workshop I don't work from there anymore , since my move interstate I've had to resort to up until now sweating my backside off in a back shed as well , it sucks !!
