Joining the club!

Post by Doug Johansson »

Just a quick hello from a new Armortek owner. Been dreaming of owning one of these magnificent machines for a number of years and now its a reality!

And what better way to start than to buy one of Dales awesome creations. Yep his beloved Sherman will soon be on a new mission down to Melbourne. My plan is to get it up and running as well as possibly attending a few shows including a run at the tank museum in Seymour.

Also plan on a few other unique features such as a custom sound file I will be programming into my Model Solutions SFX6 card.

You lucky son-of-a-gun :D :D

Glad to see all Dale's hard work will soon be out and about under its own steam.

Doug,
You are lucky to get that magnificent Sherman. If I didn't already have one I would have liked to have Dales. Glad to hear its going to a good home. Congratulations! Show some pix when you get 'er home.

Well she arrived yesterday. Was going to make a post last night but was seriously too awestruck to do anything other than just drool like an idiot for the remainder of the evening.

Having never seen an Armortek vehicle in the flesh before now I can safely say noting can prepare you for the experience! Dales expert build is incredible and am honored to own one of his creations. I just hope I can do this model justice going forward.

Heres a couple of pics of the un-boxing....

Hi Doug

The workmanship of Noel is second to none. He has the artistic licence to produce startling work as you have now found out. I hope you really enjoy the "Armortek experience" and join with Dale , the boys in Australia and me in having a great time with your new toy.
Best regards
Rick Jensen
