I have redesigned my Panther exhaust round grill sets, these now have a more scaled look to them. I have used 1/16" brass rod to make the rings which is more to scale. Kent Wiik pointed this out to me and I had to use a different method of production. The problem with 1/16" brass rod to make the rings, it was difficult to produce a prefect circle and at the same time maintain a uniform size for each ring. The answer to this was to shape the mesh and fit the ring inside it as opposed to making the ring and fitting the mesh to it. I have finally mastered the production by making a press to shape the mesh, this means all grills are the same size, give or take a few thousand of a inch.
This new production method takes a longer to produce, therefore prices of sets that have these round grills have increased slightly. All those that have these sets on order will not pay the price increase. My catalog and price list will be updated in a few days. New prices, as of this post are published below.
Current stock of these sets are sold out, if you need these Pan21A and Pan21AK for the Panther, Jagdpanther or Bergepanther please order now so I can restock the photo-etched parts to fill orders. Pan21AK will come with the new designed grill assembles and Pan21B with not be offered as a kit due to two reasons. First without a press to shape the mesh it will be very difficult to get them round and correct size, second the mesh and brass rod can be purchased if you want to make your own.
