Impressing skills in painting there!
And I just love the level of detailing, well done.
Regarding the paint scheme I admit it look interesting however I doubt it ever existed
Today it is an on going debate about the resent Panzer paint fashion in red oxide, heavy weathered late in war Panzers (the Spanish school).
Sadly I am on the doubting side in this as no photo exists to verify but I still admire and find a well build Panther interesting.

Hi Simon,
Nice work with the IR box (and Steve) and I can see your becoming quite handy with the airbrush - lovely paintwork.
A small detail on the IR box; as this was an armoured box compared to the standard Panther box, it was heavy and in most photos I´ve seen the Germans added a hook probably to be able to lift it when mounting it, see here;
