2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Oh well, if it has to be a Famo.........

Post by Stephen White »

OK - I see which way this is going. I thought Armortek = armour = tank = something with tracks and a big gun: so that means a Centurion.

But I have to admit reluctantly that the monstosity below has tracks and a b***** big gun:

Image

I gather 14 were constructed by Weserhutte company, of Bad Oeynhausen to be delivered in June & July 1943.All 14 were given to the 26th Pz. Div.

In July 1943, the 26th was sent to Italy to to help stem the tide of the allied invasion of Sicily.

Enjoy.

Regards.

Stephen

> if the price isnt as high as comet money, I could be tempted too..

The Sd.Kfz 7 was released at the same price as the Sherman, so a FAMO would probably be the same price as a KT

Famo with 88

Post by Leon Hosking »

The ultimate Famo would have to be the version with the 88 mm on the back 8)

How easy would that be  considering plans already exist for the 88 mm  simples   :!: :!:

Hey Leon,
That's another good reason for owning a FAMO---together with a 88mm gun.
Whoever wants the vehicle, will consider the gun too. :D
Cheers,
Lerh Chang
