Can we have a Sherman please? :D
Hi Guys, just a quick question for Mark and Gill and also just to get a general response from forum members.
Is there any chance of us getting a Sherman kit soon?
Who here would like to see one?
I just seem to have noticed, in amongst the sea of lovely german kit, there isn't a great deal of allied armour.
Sooo... my suggestion is, following the route of the current "Ultimate Panther" and create a sort of 3 in 1 Sherman.
You could have the options set as a standard M4a3, as already released, then add the possibility of a 76mm turret and possibly a cast hull? add to this the m4a1 engine deck and sound options, and I reckon a pretty vast choice of models could be made by ticking the different option boxes! Heck throw in wading gear as an option by either armortek or an after market vender and we could build pretty much an vvs sherman we feel! Pacific sherman waders, normandy sherman wader, a Firefly could be possible, the possiblilites would be huge!
Just a thought anyway
Cheers from your friendly local Ronson lover..

Alex,
I am one of the lucky Sherman owners. I like your thoughts. The 76mm gun/T-23 turret would be a great option for the the current Armortek Sherman hull. I also like the late war M4A3E8 "Easy eight". That would be a nice model as well. What ever Mark and Gill choose to make I am sure it will be another hit.
Cheers. Bob

I have to say I prefer the old shape Shermans but a "Large Hatch" hull with the 47 degree Glacis would make for a superb Kitty Killer, and could be forward dated to Korean War and Israeli M-50/M-51 specs as well.
Now Mark's done the dampers on the Comet, I'm sure the HVSS would be possible.
Adrian.
PS - I'd still like a Matilda II some day

Excellent point Jim, plus if I'm not mistaken it would mean that all of those desert Kittys and Panzers would have an adversary..plus it could lead to an earlier sherman, matildas to match the desert theme, initial tiger 1's and maybe even a panzer ii! Oh and a stuart..and and and...the list goes on...
Phew i think I need a sit down after all that...

Hi Dale,
That is one great looking Sherman
The weathering is superb, it makes all the difference to the final look
Have you taken any videos of it running yet
Thanks Antony
