A good bye lads
Hi Lads, i have now sold my tiger 1 to a nice chap that will soon be saying hello, a Mr Tony Thompson,i hope you will all look after him as you have me in the last 3 years, i am not leaving the hobby totally, i am getting soon a Mark 1 tiger due to my back after a EFP in Basra it is better for me to work on etc.i would just like to say a big thanks to Mark and Gill for all there work and help the last 3 years and also to Lee sellers for his advice ,and to the rest of you chaps for all the help. i will pop in now and then for a look at all the work, best regards ..glen

Sorry to see you go, and for your particular reason. I can see that a Mark-1 model will be easier for you to handle.
I don't know where you are with your back injury but I wish you well and hope you make a full recovery.
Maybe when Mark makes a Universal Carrier we'll see you back on the Forum ?

Although we have never chatted or debated I wish you well with you new direction, I too have a mark 1 tank, a Chally2, The supplier of a lot of Marks models are Russian, and a such you might find the build is simple but robust..
They are reliable but do have a few querks, I not sure if you are staying with 1/6 or going to 1/8 either way I hope that you get the enjoyment from it that you deserve. A friend of mine has just recieved a 1/8 Tiger from Mark 1 and seems to be pleased with it.
I'm not sure about a Bren Gun Carrier as the next model but the light weight BMD 1 with swimming gear might be interesting.
