Rusty Situation

Post by John Clarke »

Hi all
As nubee, would be interested how much rust would be allowed to gather on the tracks in service, my own thoughts and experience not too much, as the track metal would resemble wrought iron after time and weathering in reality. but how would you paint it? should you paint.it? or just leave them as they are. The original owner of my KT went to town on the turret spare track with the rust. Wonder what you guys and girls think?

Well after reading al that, I think I'll try for the not so well painted wrought iron look and see how things turn out.
