Although the old website is available in http://www.daventrynet.co.uk/forum/ , it looks the current Username and/or password are/is not acceptable, therefore it's un-accessible. Is this correct?

As Gill stated you can view the topics on the old forum without login.
To view the full contents you can select "all" in the "show topics" box on the LH top of the page.
