Adjustable Suspension
I have the early Tiger and have run the guts out of it over the last year or so. Its performed really well but now the suspension has settled, mostly at the rear of the tank so that the return rollers are almost on the ground. When I built the tank I did set the suspension at 35 degrees on the advice on the forum at the time. Armortek recommended 45 degrees. I also ground flats on the ends of the torsion bars to give more purchase for the screws to hold the bars. Over the weekend I removed the torsion bars and was trying to reset them when my brother came up with a brilliant idea. He suggested using guitar machine heads to hold the fixed end of the torsion bars. They would require a bit of work to fit and to attach the torsion bar to them but then the suspension would be totally adjustable. We reckoned on fitting four initially to the front and rear road wheels to see how they would work
