General Update - September 2010

Post by Armortek »

Well September is upon us and with the Open 'Weekend' just over two weeks away, life at Armortek is busier than ever!

Thank you to everyone who has posted or e-mailed that they will be attending. More important details on the weekend will follow soon, so check back to the forum regularly if you are coming.

The first few Comet kits have now been despatched, we are still waiting on some of the Armorpax parts, however if you are very keen we can send the kit without and then a follow up package so just let me know if this is your preference.

The new CNC machine is now in full production and is making parts for the Panther Universal Hull. Due to having 6 axis it is a complex machine to set and programme, however once set it is satisfying to see finished components on the parts conveyor belt which would previously have has to go on to have 2 or more further operations.

E-mails continue to arrive at a rate faster than I can process, so to those still awaiting replies I apologize and thank you for your patience. They will all get answers as quickly as I possibly can.

Gill

Sorry :? As this kit required all brand new parts and moulds its taken our casters a little longer than usual to get everything ready. The last couple of moulds are just about ready and the remaining parts should be cast by the weekend and on the way to Armortek.

Best regards

Dave

Just to say thanks for yesterday Gill & Mark. We saw the new m/c in full flow, absolutely an impressive piece of kit.
