Thanks Nick. I am a bit of a G4 obsessive myself and have had a good look at Franco's car's restoration. I assume you have seen: http://www.worldwarcars.com/
Apparently someone in the UK has spoofed a G4 fromLand Rover components but so far I have not been able to find a photo - unless you have one...
The item that really caught my eye was the tracked Kubelwagen.
The variety of obscure military vehicles is enormous - The old magazine 'Wheels and Tracks' that used to be run by Bart van der Veen, of which I have a complete set, was a marvellous source of info.
