There are only a few days I finished the work on the wheel

nevertheless I could work again on them.

Can you tell me the measures of the hemispherical bulge? I mean : the external radius and the highness.
The top of the bulge looks flat, am I right? If I am, how much is the diameter of the flatness?

Glad you enjoy my reading makes it worth the effort doing it.

Sorry but this time I have to let you down...

The only measure I have is from the Panzer Tracts book and then scaled form 1:10 drawings.
Living in northern Sweden 2000 km away from the nearest Panther in Germany I am unable to take those numbers myself.
Maybe someone on this forum living closer to a Panther can assist here?

But I think you are right, the top of the hub cap looks flat.

Seeing the picture I understand the hub cup consists of two parts: the inner cup and the outer ring. So makeing things as in the 1/1 tank is more complicated than I thought.
In the up right corner of the second picture I see how the sprocket is bolted to the wheels : I never saw a so magnified picture.

I would be grateful if you take more detailed photos and complete measurements of hub and bolts.

The photos are really interesting. Now I can understand how the wheels were assembled for the 1/1 tank.

But now you got me badly wanting this correct look at the hub domes.

Canâ€™t ignore them are made far too flat any more, thanks mate...

Not that easy to do now as they have got a lot of attention as it is.
The best thing would be if Gill and Mark redesign them for the incoming universal batch and we "old" ones was able to buy a set of them.
All measure is there now to make them accurate thanks to Timâ€™s kindness (hint hint...)
