What have people used to make the antenna?

Has anyone attempted to make it scale? It looks like it is about 4.2mm at the base tapering to a point at the end.

Does anyone know what the correct length of the antenna is?

Hi David,

From a drawing I measure 345mm in 1/6 scale.

Hi again,

After going through some books it looks like the aerial on the full size was 2m. Though I'm not sure at what point the actual aerial length starts.
