Me and my mates were blown away when the kit arrived, great packaging and the contents speak for themselves what a kit. :D The look on there faces when I told them the weight of it when finished ....priceless.
Anybody know how to put an picture in for the avatar as we took a picture in front of a german 38 T here at work?

Thanks

Tim,

Good luck with the build and enjoy. Get in touch with Dale Jordan on this forum. I'm not sure which part of "down under" you hail from, but Dale is from that part of the world, and has a long history of building and detailing Armortek models.

G'Day Tim
I'm in Cairns and have my early Tiger running .Seems you'll be the closest tiger owner to me.One suggestion I have is to at least prime all the major steel parts of the hull sooner rather than later. If the Gold Coast is anything like Cairns you'll be able to hear the parts rusting.Anyway if I can be of any assistance just contact me on the forum and if easier I'll get you my E-mail and/or phone number.Dale Jordan is defiantly a great source of knowledge and also extremely helpful.

G'day Andy
Thanks for the tip, I am getting Watyl Spray Mate Industrial Primer Grey today (thanks Dale). Would you apply this to all the major hull parts before putting that section together?
Your tank looks great in the photos top colour gives the tiger great presence.

I would certainly get some etch primer down on the major steal components. It is a lot easier to touch up or re-coat areas that may need some work , rather than removing large patches of surface corrosion later.Good to here there's another Tiger in OZ.Now just need to shrink the country so we can all catch up. I have a late tiger and a 222 in Perth WA ( Wait Awhile) Australia, about 70% at this stage, Dale has been a help but due to my office work load I have not had a lot of time to email lately. Email if you need assistance.

The 222 is complete the Tiger is about 75% waiting on Mike Stannard hatches to arrive. I have the motion pack to install after finishing the wheels, then the paint process, I assembled the main frame and then primed all steel and aluminum prior to assembly just watch filling holes with primer.
