Pz III Tow Ropes

I've just fitted Steve Winstone's excellent tow rope fittings and was looking for some data on the original ropes themselves.

According to Trojca's book which quotes the original manuals, they were 5000mm long and 27mm in diameter. At one sixth, that would be:

833mm long and 4.5 dia.
