Going to see the Tiger at Bovington, any photo requests?

Post by Sarah Frazer »

Hi Guys,

I off to the Tank Museum at Bovington on Thursday, to take photographs of the Tiger and Panzer III. Are there any specific photographs anyone wants whilst I'm there?

Dale, I think the Panzer III N at Bovington is probably missing its engine

It looks very nose heavy to me in side on shots, so that might skew any indications of the correct ride height.

Adrian.

Hi Sarah
Since I am trying to make out a working driver`s visor, some pics. from the side and front in different angels would be great. Some pics. of the fastners for the "track" rope , I think some mod of the bracket in the kit are in order. I am doing an early , so the bracket`s will be the right one`s
Thanks in advance

Sarah,

I have to take advantage of your kind offer.

Since you know what I am building, you know what I want. Pics of the turret sides, mantlet, details of the rear and especially the drivers armor and mg.

Many thanks,

Rocky

Sarah - I had a request from Brian Leach which I've passed on by pm. Perhaps you might help him? Enjoy Bovvy - I can never spend enough time there.

Best regards

Stephen

Thanks for the photos Sarah .. The suspension arms under the tiger where the same as I did on my early tiger so I'm happy about the ride height . On the other hand it's was good to see under the PZIII as the suspension arms hang a lot lower then I thought so this is good info ...regards Dale
