I have done KT bench-testing today. Because not using Futaba 7CHs but Sanwa 8CHs, some confusions occurred:
(1) I thought by installing the Speed Control Module, 1 CH is enough to control two tracks to perform forward/backward/steering, etc. But in fact 2CHs are still needed.
(2) The power simply turns-on itself, before I press the orange-color button on side of the Power Supply Module and still on after I press it again. It's something I need to sort it out why.
(3) The gun's elevation mechanism is not working today. Also need to fix it myself.
I'll be much appreciated if someone can give me some advices on:
(A) Is it correct on (1)?
(2) why does it happened like (2) & (3)?
Thanks!

Hi
1 Yes you do need two channels to control the two tracks. It is impossible to control two motors with one channel.
2 The power should only come on when you press the button. Check that the button is not stuck in. Check your battery wiring is correct. Disconnect everything else and re check to see what happens.
3 Gun elevation will only work if you have every component correctly connected. That includes the turret sub loom and the limit switches. Any one part missing or incorrect and you get nothing.
If you are still having trouble send us pictures, this is the best way to solve these issues remotely.

Hi Mark and everyone,
Thanks Mark for the advice. I have made a wrong description by saying "1 channel to control 2 tracks". Yes 2 channels are needed. What I means is I wish 1 joystick should be able to control 2 channels on 2 tracks. The test I'd made so far was 2 joysticks were needed, one from each side.
I have used a Vantec RDFR23 speed controller on my other tank, that does control 2 tracks by 1 joystick on one side. I wish our "Speed Control Module" + "Amplify Module" can do so. I will need to do more testing to find out the answer.
Regards,
