Hi Dale
That seems to be what most use in the UK.
Unless you need more channels

Hi Dale

The set that we recommend is the Futaba 7C. This set gives you full function control including blank firer and lights. The budget Futaba 6ex, unfortunately, only has 4 proportional channels. You need one for each track, one for turret turn and one for sound control. All of which means that the gun cannot be fully controlled, its either fully depressed or fully elevated. The 7C is more expensive but has no issues.

We have also tested the our equipment with Spectrum 6 and 7 channel radios and with Sanwa 6 channel gear. Beware of multi channel sets, they are known to have compatibility issues. The new Armortek modules are digital pulse counting devices and do not work well with receivers that produce non standard outputs.

Hi Dale

I don't think there is any difference between the two types, apart from the default settings. For tanks we don't use either set of defaults, so you can buy whichever one you like. You don't need any servos.
