Hi Guys
After seeing the Comet run at Shepton the other day
I just had to have one, I would say its the best runner
and the most interesting (No torsion bars and double skin hull)
Armortek kit yet.
Mark just keeps getting better and better at these models and with the Armorpax parts that Dave has produced they are great value as well.
Well done the team.
Derek
Couldn't resist it !!

Wonderful news Derek. So we can now anticipate another of your star builds. The Comet club is increasing by the day. With so little operational service, it will be interesting to see which vehicles people represent. They were in service post war in Hong Kong, South Africa, Eire etc. There is a myth that they served with the British Army in Korea but those artillery observation vehicles were in fact Cromwells. Which leaves the 11th Armoured Brigade in early 1945. I'll stake a claim for a vehicle from 3rd Royal Tank Regiment.
All the best.
Stephen

Hooked
Hi
I too had to have one back in March. The kicker was no torsion bars.
In 1973 I worked in a factory that rebuilt M113 Armored Personnel Carrier. Hooked from that day on.
Started with Tamiya 1/16 Sherman then the King TIGER, Leopard ,Flakpanzer,Pershing full-option,Leopard 2 A6 full option and now the big boys.

Hi Guys
Thanks !
I wonder how much more Mark can improve these machines
this will be the 3rd kit for me after my Panther and PzIII / Stug.
Each of those has been better than the last and I know the KT was even
better still and at the risk of starting a controversy I think the Comet is even better still.
I will be posting a build blog I will be doing a late war one.
Not sure which yet...
Regards
Derek

Hi Guys
Well Comet number 36 arrived today
I will not start the build to the summer next year as I have house stuff to finnish first and then I need to get the remains of the Stug done.
However the boxes are safe and sound and waiting for the sun to come out
The builds so far are very good and I can't wait to get to mine.
I will be logging mine here once I start.

Comet Build
Derek, I look forward to your progress with great anticipation, I intend to finish my Tiger in the spring, and so I hope my build will then parallel yours.
I am unshamed in saying that I will follow all information already posted and want to thank you all for what has so far been shared.
My Tiger is brilliant, and I might even stutter a bit, FFF,F, F......! I might also suggest a DUKW, easier to say, but I think the Comet is going to be really good to build and run.
