Armortek ** NEW MODEL **

Post by Armortek »

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new model. The American Half Track will be offered as the M2 basic kit with easy conversion options for the M3 and M16 types.

This is a limited batch production which is expected to be in great demand. Early deposits are recommended to secure your model.

I am pleased that you are producing another allied model, the half track I think is one of the most iconic US vehicles of WWII. I am sure other Sherman owners will agree this is great news! :D

Gill and Mark,

Will the front wheels have drive also?
I ask as I think the drawing displays a front differential.

Will one of the conversion options for converting it to an M16 be a quad 50 turret with four 50 cal. machine guns ?

Many M16's had this mounted on them

I'd imagine Armortek will make the basic vehicle and leave the conversions and options to the parts specialists.

Adrian,

I agree with you that most detail parts for conversions will be left to the guys that produce the detail parts however the detail guys did not opt to do much for the Sherman but hopefully they will do some details for this one.

That said how many parts the detail guys do will depend on how much interest there is in whatever detail parts owners of this kit will want.

Armortek does mention easy conversion options will be available which tells me they will make some conversion parts available.

I do hope Armortek or someone does the quad 50 as my dad was a quad 50 gunner and fortunately is still here to talk about it.

What a resource he would be if the quad 50 is done.

Mike, I am at the War and Peace show with Armrotek. I have been told that Armorpax will be making the quad 'gun. Drop Dave a line and check with him.

I know it's early days . I'm just wondering if the tracks are going to be Rubber like the real thing.??? Or alloy , and we just paint them. One good thing is that's it's $ 1000.00 pound cheaper then my tiger .

Yeah John, can you float me a loan for the half track? Lets see which of the kids can I sell to pay for the M2? Hmmmm tough choice.

Gonna have to apply for my third home equity loan I guess.
