Enamel paint.

I have some RAL 8000 paint coming from http://www.kommiss.com/product_info.php ... cts_id=976.

Originally I ordered spray cans, but it was stopped from being shipped as you cannot ship spray cans. Now I have pots of paint coming. I am told that it is enamel paint.

Any suggestions on thinner, thinner to paint ratio and anything else I need to be careful with when spraying this.

I will get a detail spray gun to shoot this.

Hello David

Use enamel thinners and if you are airbrushing it you need to dilute to the consistansy of milk.

How much paint did you order, I have been in touch with Holger and it comes in 0.7 ltr tins. Do you think one will be enough ?

Do you you know where you can get larger quantities of enamel thinners from in the Uk ?

I just use the 250ml pots from my Model shop. I have seen them in Modelzone and Hobbycraft.

I originally ordered 6 cans of spray, however that never got delivered as it turns out you can not ship aerosols from Germany to the US so now he is sending the equivalent in pots of paint so I am not really sure how much that will be.
