P III Spare Wheel Carrier

Post by steve winstone »

Hi All,

Thanks to Derek for letting me use his spare wheel carrier to get it cast, I am going to get castings in loss wax brass, I will be ordering only a small batch, if anyone is interested please email me, so I can judge how many to order. The approx cost would be around £10.00. This will be in a form of 2 brass castings and a steel centre post. My email is : steve.winstone@sky.com

Regards
Steve

Hi Guys
It was a spare one that I had made so I am happy to share through Steve
with you all.
You need two per tank.
I drilled mine to clear 2.5 mm and used hex head bolts to hold them down.

Regards

Derek

Hi Dale

Yes the holes will be drilled in, I did not want to alter Derek's part. When I get the castings in, I will drill and machine the bottoms of the castings.

Regards
Steve

Hi All,

The castings have arrive for the Spare Wheel Carrier, the cost will be £12.00 each, because of the cost of castings, apparently the brass has gone up :(

See photos below. If you are still interested please let me know as I only have a small batch of these.

Regards
Steve
