More room needed
Looks like the bikes and lawnmover are going to have to go And how I'm going to get this lot into the Ford Focus ready for the Armortek open day god only knows. Anyone got a good strong roof box?
It does show what you can get into a standard garage.

Hi Nigel
I think that maybe you could do with a really nice extra heavy duty shed!!
Located just across the road from Armortek is a very reputable timber buildings company run by..........Me!!
I better not try to much on the hard sale ....might get told off !!
I know the feeling about space no sooner than I cleaned out my shed ....then my wife filled it up !!...Typical
Cheers

Now the word shed does sound like a great idea, but where to put it?. Ever guy should have a shed.
More to the point having a company just across the road from Armortek with lots of shed's sounds like heaven to me I would spend all day building whislt showing customers what they can do with a shed
Nigel..

Every bloke should have a shed .....you're quite right!
All our are made to order and believe it or not I don't really have any display ( kept getting nicked ).
Apart from my work shop shed 100 x 40 ex WW2 nissan hut...I recently treated myself to a 10 x 8 . nice size but too small as it been invaded by the wifes stuff.
I see Armortek have announced their open day for 2008. I,ll probably make the trip across the road....!! & hope to see you their.
Just another bit of information....I dunno if you know but Dunkeswell has a fair bit of military history too. In fact 400 yds from Armorteks premises is the dunkeswell museum. Is worth a few minutes if you get up that way.
Good luck!

The trailer company is still there " Perrys of Oakley"
There is all sorts of rumours about what went on up there....one of it's most famous is the bombing mission by 1 of the Kennedy brothers...using at the time the new fangled radio control to fly a plane full of explosives. The idea was that they piloted it so far and then bail out leaving a following plane to fly it remotely....unfortunately he and his collegue did'nt make it out!
Also there is a local rumor that when the US left...they just dug a series of big holes and buried their gear ,vehicles too.
Cheers Simon

Just finished laying a paved standing for a 16' x 8' shed which should be delivered by Christmas
Guess where I'll be on Christmas afternoon It won't be watching the Queens speech
I'm going to fit a good sturdy lock on the door, and I'll have the only key
Might even have room enough for a M2 Half Track.
Cheers

I have personally given up hope that politicians who never experienced war first hand will ever realise that war is the worst of all possible alternatives.

Nigel,
To gain even more space in your shed you could dig a basement or cellar, I have.
Simon,
This year at the Armortek open day we were a bit short of little tank running space, so at the next open day please could we invade your little shed?

Hello Chaps
Nigel
Maybe a few shelves would be ok!!! ( can't beat a good shelf) or failing that 1 thing that works for me is a load of dirty great big nails bashed into the wall to hang things on !
The main thing is to get your priorities sorted......sell your lawnmower to nextdoor ...then when you want to cut the grass.....ask if you can borrow it!
And the bike ......had one of those once myself....but discovered that a car was far less trouble !!
Patrick
My Unit is about half a mile from Armotek's and almost opposite is a small field (piece of waste ground)....I reckon my landlord would be ok with this being used....
