Speaker Mounts
The speaker mounts which Tannoy supply are very flexible and aren't designed for bouncing around. Athough I've used them to hold the base of the speakers, I thought the enclosure needed steadying. I've moulded a resin support for each speaker using Alumilite resin:

Mounting for the power supply unit:
.... and for my friend Fabrice, I can't stand to see a man in pain, so note the pop rivets are no more.

Electrics Complete
A couple of shots of the completed electrics. It's all come together, taking some care to make sure the elevation motor clears the central speaker and the wiring for the amp module. The small switch at the back right controls the smoker heater element.
Finally got around to mounting Clive's headlights. They look superb - thanks Clive. They're drilled to take a bulb, which I'll set up with the Notek (and the small side lights if Clive decides to make the latter).
The Pz III section has really taken off in the last few weeks with some great build logs. Thanks to everyone taking the trouble to post - lots of good ideas to pinch!
Regards.

Back two paces.
The kit angle brackets which join the upper and lower hull are short both fore and aft so I've removed them and extended them. I've also added the correct number of bolts - not sure this will be that obvious on the assembled tank but a couple of days work moves the tank on. Now the Clive hinges.....

Catwalks
Inspired by Jeff's build, I've done trial fitting of the catwalks to check the height of the brackets which give the characteristic line. It was distinctly curved rather than straight as on the kit. I've started some of the detail pieces such as the angle brackets on the top front hull plate, while I wait for a delivery of one sixteen copper rivets to secure the tread plates.
