Hello Mark

Will You be getting the sound of the Merlin Engine for the comet. Cant find on his site?

Thats a very good question. We will need to record the engine sound and get Thomas to produce a new unit. It does not sound like a Merlin in a Spitfire or a Hurricane because of the very different different exhaust and lack of supercharger, but it does sound nice!

Thomas does indeed do a Comet sound module with the Rolls Royce Meteor engine sounds. This was recorded by Dave Norris at one of the War and Peace Shows and sent to Thomas for incorporating into a TBS5 sound module. I've just fitted one of these into Dave's Comet model.
