Panzer III Idler Wheel

Post by Tim Bowman »

Hello fellow PIII owners.

Jeffrey Goff's post prompted me to post this today. A bit premature but incase some do not want to have to modify the kit's existing idler wheel, I am in the process of designing an idler upgrade wheel similar to how I did the Panthers. The PIII is a little more complicated but I think I have it worked out. The components are in the computer already and I just need to determine the best processes for each part. It will be closer to the real thing then anything out there in 1:6th scale and will including the hollow, outer rims.

Although my PIII is a long long ways off, I wanted to start on this piece.

Happy tanking!
Tim

That's great news Tim 8)

I've been looking at the idlers and racking my brains for a way to replicate the V channel rims, without success :?

Can't wait to see how you're planning on doing it :D

Adrian.
