Next kit
Looking at the shop page on the home page . There are no German tanks kit for sale as the Mid tiger is sold out . We all know that the comet is on it's way , but for new customers and existing owners the shop is EMPTY . So I have a feeling that armortek need to have another TANK kit to sell soon . one thing I have notice is that there seams to be a big demand for Panthers on this forum !! When they come up for sale they go quickly !!! So if Mark and Gill did do one . I would suggest a "D" so which version would you guys like to see D or A or G and why ?? . .... I'm still hoping for a 38T .. so lets sound off ... Dale

There's the rub. Mark is currently making parts for Tigers and Gill is packing Panzer IIIs. Once the Tigers are manufactured, Gill will start packing them and Mark can start on the Comet parts. I would guess these will start going out of the door towards the summer of 2010. Once that starts happening Mark can start making the parts for the next model, which likely won't be ready until Autumn 2010.
People aren't buying Taowan models because of the long gap between payment and shipment, so unfortunately I would think that would hold true for Armortek kits as well.
It's a fine balancing act between having enough stock to satisfy demand and tying up capital in materials, and not one I would be happy trying to undertake
Adrian.

Comet dust has not even settled and you are already onto the next release?!!
Poor Gill.
I think there were some 222s left weren't there?
If I did not have a Panther already, I would prefer an Ausf A. Good middle production model. Plus, it could easily be converted to a D. Maybe both glacis plates and cupolas could be offered?
Mark and Gill must be hating us right about now.
They release a beautiful, new and exciting kit and we are talking about what the next one might be.

I think what Mark and Gill do for two people is way above what the average worker can do in a week ... With Gill doing all the office work , E mails , packing ,Talking to us all , Show's P.R , etc... Mark has to design every part of the new kit . select out each peace of metal to be machined , make sure it works .. run the machines , order all the stock ... I would like to see a time - lapes camera in the workshop for a day to see how they do it ... Hi Adrain I was just thinking buisness wise with another kit . when we were waiting for the comet to be released .. People could still buy a Mid tiger or a PZIII ... If I'm new to the hobby and had some money saved to buy a tank not a half track or 222. And I did not like the comet , I will have to wait .. six to nine months to have a choice on another tank kit ... Gill might sell out of comets in a couple of months and I'm sure there will be customers wondering what to buy.. I think any company in the world would love to have this problem .. I just hope we don't wear Mark and Gill out there doing all this work for us , and where having the fun ....Dale
