What magazines do you read ?

Seeing the Aussie article made me wonder what publications people either have as a subscription or pick up from time to time :?:

When I was looking at getting a lathe, I bought a couple of issues of Model Engineers Workshop, as it was running a series on the Sieg C3 lathe I was considering. I now have that as a gift subscription from my parents so get it every month.

I also have Military In Scale as a subscription as I like the style and layout of the vehicle build and detailing articles.

Having been looking around recently for things to add to my Christmas list, it seems as though there are many more military modelling magazines than I remember.

So, does anyone else have any favourites, or pet hates :?:

I am not an avid reader of military publications! however many arrive here at the Armortek office. A relative newcomer ‘World War II Re-Enactors’ magazine recently ran an article on Armortek. In my opinion the quality of the publication is excellent and the rapid growth in sales seems to suggest that others agree.

hello all,
reading this article and looking at the link i see the v for victory show was mentioned, i attended this show in leicestershire and it was amazing, the WW11 reenactments and vehicles on display were excellent and the the planes flying over mustang,spitfire,Lancaster,b17,hurricane etc were fabulous, they had some RC model boats in a small lake beside the show and some RC planes flying around, i was thinking are models should be there, they would attract alot of attention aim sure, maybe next year we could have armortek or a few owners there running are tanks about, the show runs for 2 days and there's a diner and dance on Saturday night and they all dress up in the appropriate period costumes if that takes your fancy,

I am not sure if you are just interested in militarty mags or general interest stuff. I used to take Classic military vehicle and even got an article published on my 1/16th Diamond T transporter. I also read Classic American on American cars and like reading either Fly Past on "classic" aircraft or Old Glory on historic stuff like steam and transport. The common theme being a romance with rust and restoration.

My sister brings me Military Machines International, The Normandy Tour shows many tanks.printed in the UK,it's about real vehicle.
2nd one I like is Classic Military Vehicle just another cool magazine about real Vehicles.This one cost me too much.$100.00 for 4 magazine
then I recd a free copy of "the Home Machinist" which is interesting.But I don't own a mill.
As for model magazines,"Fine Scale Modeler";Tamiya Model Magazine;
"Armor Models"by Squadron; "Model" is a Both of these have good pictures
Before I brought my first Armortek model I had these model magazines.Tamiya tanked about the M26 Dragon Wagon.the others German and US armor.
But I like reading about real tanks,people who own them,and about museums.Fine scale modeler had a issue on cleaning an air brush.
Armor Models also had pics of real tanks from WW2.It shown me the King Tiger well. Dan
