Panther/Jagdpanther Anschlagbock

Hi everyone

I am posting this on behalf of Cedric Meyer who will be offering them for sale in sets of four. This is one of the parts I regret not doing on my Panther and I was more then happy to design and draw the part for Cedric so he could have them produced. The larger, forward stops will be following soon.

These are designed to accept the kit’s existing rubber stops and hardware or customized parts. I hope to post a photo of them assembled in the near future.

The machining quality is first class and they are an accurate, robust replacement for the kits stops.

Well done Tim and Cedric!

That bumper stop looks far better then the kit one ever will become.
Sad yours was not available when Mr Dremel begun chancing my 4... :wink:

Look forward to see them assembled and the forward stops as well.

The following pictures are of parts printed in 3D from the drawings I created for Cedric. They are detailed and finished to show how the stops would look completed. I used stacked neoprene washers for the bumpers and thin spacers could be added every two washers so they look even more like the real ones. The rubber parts supplied with the kit could also be used.

Forward Bump Stop

I finally found some free time to finish one of these while also working on the Tiger bump stops, rubber stop patterns. I made the early style of this Panther stop as I thought they were more interesting. IMHO

Kent's post has great photos of the real ones(both versions) as well.

Fantastic looking bump stop Tim!

So much better then the kit pair I made a poor attempt to shape up.
A 3D printer+Solid work are the future! :D

Not if the last time you used Autocad it didn't have version number :oops:

Guess I'll have to stick to scalpel, needle files and a pin vice. When the going gets really tough at least I have the big guns in the form of the Dremel :roll:

"Luckily", this Panther is missing most of its running gear, so these parts are much more accessible than on a complete vehicle.
