castelnuts / Kroenenmutter

Post by Georg Steffen »

Hello to all Tiger 1 comanders,
during my search for castellnuts i find a "maker"
for Castellnuts in scale 1/6 M3 SW 4,5 (wrench?)

Now my question. If the maker made them.
How many do i need ? (For the one Tiger 1)
And is somebody interesting? (maybe KT and other)
Price? If i can more the cost .... (maybe)
I know, the are to many maybe, but i can try it.

Hi Georg.

I've looked through my photographs of the Bovington Tiger and the only places I can see castle nuts is on the bump stops and the tow hitch.

It looks to me as though the original Tiger builders preferred to use locking tabs rather than castle nuts.

Adrian.

Hi Georg

Great news! How much would they cost? I'd be interested in some. Need to count how many but at least 20.

Thanks very much
Tim

Hi Georg,

how to offer a batch of M4 with SW 6. Those fill fit my pistol port from inside very well. 6 pieces requested. If Tim goes ahead with his bump stops, there are 12 pieces in M4 for each Tiger I only for the stops and regardless of early, mid or late model.

Best regards Roland
