Hello Fellas and Happy Easter.
Right the Battle of the Bulge trip is now booked for the 9 people who have paid deposits, thank you.
A couple of important things to sort out and an obvious one.

1. We all need a valid passport!
2.Stuart Holden. I need a pick up point from you please. The free ones are as follows. Bath. Bridgwater. Gordano sevices {M5} Sedgemoor services {M5}. Taunton Dean services {M5}. if you need more options please ring me 01524 720977 or mail pjtigerman@aol.com
3.Duncan Allender. I need a pick up point from you too mate, we can sort it out in the morning.
4.Travel insurance, if we are all under 65 we can get their insurance for £29.95p each. if your older than that its more?
5.Does anyone have any medical requirements {Paul Wills this does not mean your secret one! } if so just mail me and i will let them know for you.
6.We may not all be on the same coach until we get to Dover!! due to the pick up points so i have said that i will confirm them, early this week with them, as i thought maybe Paul Clive and Antony and myself and Vinnie could all be at the same pick up...perhaps its up to you.
By for now Paul

Hey there guys

Sven from Belgium, when you're over here i can come over one day to see you guys in person...
I've already visited a lot of the museums and battlefields but i would like to meet you guys instead of talking to you thru the electronique highway...

So maybe we can meet eachother somewhere in the Ardennes...?

Greetings from Belgium

Sven

Hi Sven,

That would be great :D . We are going to be based in Liege at the Holiday Inn. We'll know our entire itinerary a little closer to departure so we'll organise something then.

Thanks Antony
Nord-West KampfGruppe, 1/6th Hetzer, 1/6 Schwimmwagen, 3 x r/c 1/6th Kettenkrad, 1/6th Marder Ausf M, 1/6th Panzer II Static...the collection is growing again....

Bad news

Post by Paul Morris »

Hi Fellas.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control i am having to pull out of the Bulge trip! this means Vincent will not be going either, and Paul Wills has also had to cancel. This does not really affect your trip just that there will be less of you.
One member has sugested postponing the trip till a later date i do not even know if this can be done as yet i will phone tomorrow and find out, all three of us that have cancelled will lose our deposits unless someone wants to take over the place and refund us?
What we do now need is someone to volunteer to take over the running of the trip to collect money etc and be the organiser there seems little point in my continuing to do this if i cannot go on the trip.
Sorry about this i will post more when i have been on the phone to see if we could postpone.
Cheers Paul

Hi Stewart.
I realise your dissapointment mate but your trip is safe! you have lost nothing and can still go on the trip if you so wish... think of the people who have lost the deposit and have no choice for whatever the reason, its just i think the situation that people find themselves in and can do little or nothing about it.
Cheers Paul.

Hi Fellas.
Right i have been in touch with Leger Holidays who run the Battlefield tours and the good news is as Antony Suggested we could if its O.K. with everyone postpone the trip and go in 2010 on the following date.

Silver service {same as booked} 18th March,
unfortunately there is a price increase that puts the price per person to £279.00p.
If this was O.K. with everyone there would be a block transfer fee of £20.00p for everyone so thats not too bad.
I would like to apologise to anyone who feels let down over this, but i can assure you all the decision in my case and i believe the others who have cancelled has not been taken lightly...hopefully now we could all go as things may start to pick up a little with the economy.
Lastly can everyone who is booked on the trip please post here or contact me asap to let me know if they want to go on the trip in March as i have to let them know befor 17th of September.
Cheers Paul. Fingers crossed

I can do either date.

As with D-Day, it's the 65th anniversary in December this year so I wonder if that will mean that museum exhibits etc will be better in March than October ?
