Hi..I am currently rebuilding a mid Tiger..Is it necessary to machine the wheel spacers to reduce their diametre and give more clearance between the spacers and tyres?..thanx..Mark

Mark,
The mid Tiger 1 did have a problem with the wheel spacers hitting the tyres of adjacent wheels and it is possible to reduce the diameter to cure this problem. If you have a lathe and can do some machining I would recommend tying the wheels together on their axles so that you don't get the problem with the wheels spinning backwards when traversing lumpy ground.
