Owners in the Northwest United States meet

Post by Jim Slothower »

I just wanted to put a big thank you out to Bob Morey for his hospitality today allowing myself and a friend to come out and view his tanks and learn from his experiences.

Bob had a BBQ waiting for my friend and I when we arrived to include cold beer :D Great host.

It was a great day talking tanks and learning how he modified and manufactured different parts for his tanks. I must say it was great to finally see one assembled. Very motivating.

I look forward to meeting any other Armortek owners in the area as well as getting together to run them when mine is assembled. Thanks again Bob, I appreciate your time.

Jim

Jim,
Thanks for making the trek up here to Seattle! Really enjoyed the chat and visit with fellow tank nuts! I think we can convert Ed over to tanks without too much trouble! Theres nothing in the manual that says you cannot be a tank AND helicopter nut! :D
It was great to meet you guys as well. I'm looking forward to the day you start your Tiger build. It will be great having more 1/6 builders in the NW.

How did the pix you took with the tank outside turn out? Post them if you get the time.

Till next time, cheers! Take Care.ImageImage

Bob,

The Pics turned out good but I will have to email them next visit home. Not enough bandwidth here to upload them.

Edmund will come around to tanks I have a feeling, and next visit I will get the beer and burgers.

Thanks again
