Hello from Denmark

Post by Poul Kiærulf »

Hello fellows

I want to introduce my self, as I’m new at the forum. I live near Roskilde in Denmark, together with my girlfriend, Dorte, and my 12 Norwegian Forest Cats, ok one belongs to Dorte.
I have dreamed about a KT since Armortek introduced the kit. I have spent lot of hours to looked at yours galleries, building projects, homepages and read this forum. Finally you all together have convinced me, that I can’t live without a KT from Armortek ;-) Now I’m waiting for my KT, hopefully it will arrive during the summer.
I have no experince in building a project like this, but I hope I can build my KT in quality, I can show you without having to be a laughing stock….
I hope one of you guys from sweden will invite for a cup of coffee, and show and tell me about your KT..
I look forward to be a part of the “Armortek family" :D

Best regards

Poul

PS I am not so familiar with English, but I hope you understand what I'm writting

Poul

First of all a warm welcome to the club and Armortekfamily...
Its all new to me as well as i'm too new here and its also my first Kit..
It was a dream of me to build a King Tiger of this scale since i was 16 years old, and that is 23 years ago...

Read a lot here on the forum and study it,than start slowly yourself.
Not to rush and if you get stuck there's one adress...
The info and help here can get you along...

Greetings from Belgium

Sven

Hi Poul!

Welcome! No "laughing stocks" here, just a bunch of great people with similar interests.:D

Welcom Poul from Holland,

Great to have you on board! Congrets with ordering a KT. I too like this model very very much but unfortunately a bridge too far for me :( But I'm a lucky owner of a T1 which gives me great plessure! I enjoy the Tiger1 every day! :D

Cheers,

Matthijs Dijkstra

Welcome Poul from Genoa.
You are not alone neither in the new challenge of building an Armortek's model (I am working -very slowly- on Panther) nor to have no experince.
Enjoy you KT.

Hi Poul. Welcome to the crazy scene of the 1/6 tanks.

I just love to see another scandinavian builder, hopefully we will grow in numbers.
I think you will be very pleased with your KT indeed.
A tip from me thou. Go slowly through all the parts before you start the build ;).
Read the tips from the fourms wich are a goldmine itself and really good to avoid hours of swearing. The forum is a wonderful community where people with different skills can help out with all sort of stuff, and degree of details if you wanna go scale crazy:).

So just enjoy the build and keep us posted with pictures.

Regards
Fredrik
