I still think this would be a nice kit from Armortek as the next U.S. tank . the running gear is the same as my sherman. It would just need a new turret and to change the front plate angle . Maybe we should see if any one else would be interested ...
New Sherman maybe

yes i think so up close it does look good nice details on it kind of reminds you of the t34 - wheels - rough cast turret
the sherman is good but a bit boxy for me though i do like the m10 haveing the open turret with working breech recoil would be the biz

Hi Colin,
What are you doing with a Comet in your barracks, are you in the bad lads army 1953 They didn’t have old tanks in the Skins barracks, only Chieftains
The more I think about it the more I think the Comet would be a nice tank to see roaming around in 1/6th, and it's time we had a British tank. As Colin says, the chassis is very similar to the T34, so it would be easy to move onto a T34 for the next model. At a guess though, that will be in the future, I think by the time Mark and Gill have got through the King Tiger and Panzer III kits, they will need a holiday!
Paul .

hi paul
ye its the only tank were ever going to have
weve had a few barrack closers over here so the comet came from one of them an armoured squadron it was their mascot so to speek the hole unit moved over to us warts and all were the brigade hq for the west of ireland and its a lot better than putting it on a firing range
regards
