Once again our first show of the year and well attended with a wide range of Armortek models on display.
Thanks to Denny for organising the event and providing tea and cake, Chris H for buying me breakfast and everyone for attending and making such an interesting display.
The highlight was Chris B organising an impromptu cavalcade around the show ground - video available on FB.
I managed to install Denny's replacement Audio Module in his Tiger, after the Post Office lost the last one, getting his Panther MGs lighting up and fixing the smoker fan, sorting out Gary's Tiger sound sync issues and moving Holger's Chieftain receiver to a more accessible location.
I also found out how far the M4A3 will run without an end connector. Sadly, we didn't find the end connector, even after several people had done a walk along the cavalcade route for me.
Adrian.
2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY
Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.
So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.
We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.
Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Re: Military History Weekend at The Helicopter Museum
Hi Adrian
Thanks again for sorting the sound sync problem on the Tiger. Next time I remove the batteries and modules I will make sure I reconnect them correctly.
Here is a photo from Saturday.
Regards
Gary

Re: Military History Weekend at The Helicopter Museum
I was only there on Sunday, but it was a great event with a good turnout - thanks to the ‘usual suspects’
And it was nice to see Allied stuff rivalling the Panzerwaffe for a change
All the best,
Chris

Re: Military History Weekend at The Helicopter Museum
It was an event characterised by more Tanks repaired than broken at the end of the day.
I made a field repair on a Churchill taking out a link on each track which has made a great improvement on the track tension, meaning that the links don't catch on the mudguard. The tracks now have enough stretch to low this to happen! It kept the visitors amused!
