What is correct: Convoy light or Notek Light?

Post by Timo Haehnle »

Hi all,

maybe you could help me with a question that I stumbled upon:

The Hetzer in the Panzermuseum Munster has a NOTEK Rearlight mounted, but I could not find any other evidence in my books, that this was the case with Hetzers used in WWII:

I know the Hetzer in Munster is based on a swiss G13, but the Museum Munster is precise in what they do.

All I could find was, that the WWII Hetzers had the round convoy light mounted:

Anyone seen a Hetzer with the NOTEK rear light, besides the one in the Panzermuseum Munster?

Looking through my books, I find zero indications of anything but a cylindrical rear light - even on the Czech built post-war ones. 8)
A little too much is about right...

thank you, thats also what I found. So it looks the Notek might not be used on the Hetzer.
